Alessandro Ravi was born in 1960. Composer, drummer and percussionist,
music teacher, instruments builder, sound engineer, producer.

He conceived and realised the art installation "Mantra & Mandala Etruschi"
(Industri Theatre, Grosseto - 2000)
He led lectures about psyco-physical features of Sound (Music: Nature's magical voice)
and didactic seminars about percussion (The talking drum).
He devised “Integral Technic” method, expressive features sinthesys of various percussion instruments, about which he wrote several articles on ”Percussioni” magazine (2001).
He devised and built original sounding wooden percussion instruments “wooDrum”,
exposing them in several international events as Perugia Classico (2001/2002),
Bari Hi-End (2001), Disma (Rimini, 2002).
 
He takes part as sound engineer, player and arranger on three albums
of pop/jazz/bossa's singer Lia Giorgi:
